Our Team

Brenna Conley-Fonda, LCPC

She/Her

Hello! My name is Brenna Conley-Fonda, I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor specializing in thirdwave behavior therapies. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an artist and graphic designer, which shaped the creativity and flexibility I bring into the therapy room.

I earned my undergraduate degree from the Art Institute of Chicago and completed training as a drug and alcohol counselor at Haymarket Center. I went on to earn my master’s degree in counseling from The Family Institute at Northwestern University, where I received training in psychodynamic therapy, DBT, and RO-DBT. I also completed postgraduate fellowship training in mindfulness and behavior therapy at The Family Institute and later served as the Program Coordinator for the Adolescent DBT program before opening my private practice in 2023.

In the therapy room, my style is playful, creative, and collaborative. I use humor and curiosity to help create a non-judgmental space where we can explore patterns, identify what’s working (and what’s not), and experiment with new skills that support meaningful change. Creating an inclusive, affirming space is central to my work, and I’m proud to support members of the LGBTQ+ community and BIPOC communities through culturally responsive care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hanging out with my two chihuahuas (Chicken and Frank), beach combing, gardening, and volunteering in my community. I’m also a diehard BRAVO fan.

I work with clients across the lifespan and have a particular passion for working with supersensors and parents of supersensors. I am currently pursuing Linehan Board certification and am looking for adult DBT clients willing to have sessions filmed.

Anne Marie O’Donnell, LCPC

She/Her

Hi, I’m Anne Marie O’Donnell. I’ve been practicing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) since 2018, and it’s become both the heart and motivation of my work and commitment to the field. I began my training at Northwestern University’s Family Institute, where I received hands-on experience and supervision in DBT, Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), and other mindfulness-based approaches. Since then, I’ve worked as a DBT program coordinator in private practice and continued to deepen my skills with DBT Prolonged Exposure (DBT PE) and DBT for Substance Use Disorders (DBT SUD). I’m also currently pursuing DBT Linehan Board Certification.

What first drew me to DBT was its dialectical worldview—the idea that two seemingly opposite things can both be true at the same time. I find this perspective both grounding and freeing, and I love helping clients apply it in their own lives. The world is complex and nuanced, and learning to hold multiple truths can be a powerful way to make sense of ourselves and the world around us.

In my practice, I bring the dialectic of acceptance and change into every session. I believe therapy works best when we can both honor where we are and also work toward where we want to be. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, warm, and genuine—a place where you can be yourself, explore what’s been hard, and take steps toward meaningful change.

Outside the therapy room, I love staying active and spending time with the people (and animals) I love. You can often find me running, biking, practicing yoga, or enjoying long, peaceful walks. I’m also a big food lover! Since being diagnosed with celiac disease, I’ve been exploring all the gluten-free spots the city has to offer (let me know if you have recommendations!). I also love spending time with my big Irish Catholic family—and recently welcomed a new furry addition, Rory, who’s adorable and sheds absolutely everywhere. I look forward to getting to know you!

MC Chase, LCSW

They/Them

I’m MC, a neurodivergent non-binary Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a deep passion for supporting teens and adults at all stages of life and intersections of identities to feel empowered and change their life.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Boston University. Before earning my Master’s Degree, I began my DBT training at Daybreak Treatment Center in Memphis, TN. This was followed by my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Since then, I have focused on building experience in a variety of therapies, including , DBT, DBT-PE, RO-DBT, CBT, IFS and mindfulness-based approaches.

I specialize in working with neurodivergent and queer individuals or their families that are struggling to manage painful and intense emotions in their current environment. My work is grounded in the belief that we are two experts in the room- you are the expert on your experience and I am the expert in different therapy modalities. With our expertise combined, I believe we can collaborate to balance acceptance and change while working toward reaching your desired goals.

If any these services interest you, please know in addition to my clinical skills I have three dogs who love to support the therapeutic process by showing up in session and modeling for requested dog pictures when you’re having a hard day.

Outside of being a therapist and a dog lover, I am also someone who loves to read sci-fi books, go to see live music whenever I can, experiment with new recipes, attempt any new creative hobby and watch anything animated.

If you are curious about a mixture of evidence based strategies, dogs, and mindfulness- I would love to explore with you if we are a good fit.

Jessica Dahldorf, LCPC, DBT-LBC

She/Her

I’m a Linehan Board Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) clinician with advanced training in comprehensive DBT. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Northwestern University, where I also played Division I lacrosse—an experience that continues to shape how I think about presence, commitment, and growth, especially staying engaged through challenge and attuning to what’s needed in the moment.

I completed my DBT practicum and fellowship training in comprehensive DBT at The Family Institute and have since spent years supervising clinicians, leading didactic training for interns and fellows, and consulting with therapists in private practice who are looking to deepen their use of DBT. I especially love helping clinicians move beyond rigid protocol and into a more flexible, principle-driven understanding of DBT that they can apply across a wide range of clients and clinical presentations.

I’m passionate about helping both clinicians and clients access the full potential of DBT—not just for managing life-threatening behaviors, but for creating meaningful, lasting change. I believe there is so much power in learning how to balance acceptance and change, and I love helping people build lives that feel more aligned, intentional, and worth living.

My approach is grounded in DBT while also integrating somatic and nervous system-informed perspectives. I bring in values-based and behavioral strategies within a person-centered framework, helping people better understand their emotional experiences and move through discomfort with more clarity and intention.

Supervision and training are a huge part of what energizes me. I care deeply about supporting clinicians in building confidence, sharpening their clinical judgment, and doing work that is both effective and deeply human.

Outside of my clinical work, I’m a mama who loves paced breathing, movement, walking my dog, and making the people around me laugh.

Katie Sweet, MA

She/Her

Hello! I’m Katie Sweet and I am passionate about working with clients that are ready to make lasting changes in their lives. I’ve been extensively trained in and practicing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) since 2020. I believe mindfulness is the true core to living a peaceful life that is manageable and allowing us to live in the present, enjoying the small moments of joy.

My clinical work includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed therapy, couples work, DBT Prolonged Exposure (DBT PE), DBT for Substance Use Disorders (DBT SUD), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

I earned my master's degree from St. Mary’s University Minneapolis and completed my practicum at Minnesota Center for Psychology, where I provided full protocol DBT and facilitated skills groups and worked with both DBT and DBT SUD clients. Prior to my practicum, I also worked at Hazelden Betty Ford with SUD clients, and an internship at Silver Sobriety, providing SUD clients with care.

In our space together, I provide validation while also encouraging leaning into the discomfort of change. I believe all of us are capable of living a life worth living, challenging myths we have created for ourselves that hold us back from change. I strive to create a space that feels both supportive and engaging; while therapy can be hard, it can also include moments of humor and connection.

Outside of being a therapist, I am a mother to four children (a 21-year-old son, 18-year-old daughter, and twin 12-year-old girls), two dogs (a Samoyed and a Yorkie mix), and two chinchillas. I am a certified yoga instructor, and enjoy yoga and Pilates, as well as going for mindful walks around the lake. Summer is my favorite season, and you can usually find me outdoors swimming, boating, or sitting on a patio enjoying a great meal.

I would love to see if we are a good fit, and if we can work together to reach your goals and find the balance in your life that you deserve.
